Kuala Besar Wave

A pact of 12 riders decided to revisit the Kuala Besar XC route this day. The 30 km ride was tiring for some. Looks like our fitness level has taken a toll from the long break. Still! Nevertheless, the ride was fun. Especially when playing chase with the waves along Cahaya Bulan beach.

Rantau Panjang Monsoon Ride

|
8 of hardcore KMHs went again to Rantau Panjang for a torture ride. It really was torturing this time since we endured the trail faster than before. Despite expecting some rainfall in the monsoon season, the wheather was dry. Gloomy, but dry. Probably because it had rained the night before. Rock garden? Stay slow

Broga Redah Ride
|
|
12 members of Freeride Malaysia set a history for being the first to ride their bikes on the peak of Broga Hill in Semenyih, Selangor. A possible new downhill trail in the making. See pictures to appreciate the view from the top of hill, overlooking Selangor and Negeri Sembilan.
Oh yes! We sure were having fun on top of the hill.

We did a short 15 km sprint ride given a limited time. The ride was nevertheless an opening ride for some after a long break during the fasting month.

Rantau Panjang Epic
|
|
A large number of us went to Rantau Panjang to taste a trail new to KMH. The ride was hosted by Rantau Panjang team. The trail is nice covering oil palm plantation and rubber estates surrounding the Lubok Setul Lake. It was indeed a good ride.

Bukit Cermin Downhill Challenge #4 2009
|
|
This event saw 163 riders from all over Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia competing against each other in the most awaited Downhill event this year. The trail has been upgraded extensively which makes it very fast and smooth from top to bottom. Kudos to organisers (BC Riders and Delmatic Technics) for the great event.

Basikalton MCA Kota Bharu
|
|
In conjunction with "1Malaysia Healthy Lifestyle Campaign" organised by MCA Kota Bharu and Tumpat, hundreds of riders (mostly roadies) turned up. The ride started from Kota Bharu heading towards Tumpat and back for a total milage of 30 km. KMH, as usual, joined the event with fat tyres.

14 of us had a good run along the river trail, completing around 20 km in total. The ride stopped at Chempaka Trail for a good huha.
